Thea C. Perales is a Filipino-Canadian graduate student in Ontario. She specializes in Gothic literature and monster theory. Her work involves decolonizing colonial narratives of Filipino mythology and westernized stereotypes of Southeast Asian women. After graduation, she intends to pursue her PhD to become a university professor.
