Born in Canada and raised in North America, Monica is a technical project manager and short story writer. She is published in two zines from Capital Letters Eclectic Fiction, by Michigan State University Libraries, Delta Township District Library, Faoileánach Journal, Amethyst Review, an upcoming illustrated anthology and an upcoming benefit anthology. Her story "The Forty-First Day: Selurong Arrival" is highlighted on the Asian Pacific American Heritage reading list for 2026 by the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses
