We currently accept work that explores the supernatural, the weird, the fantastical, and we are seeking cross-genre work, experiemental work and mystery, science fiction, fantasy, horror, or work informed by folklore or mythology.
We commit to highlighting authors from the Philippines and Filipino diaspora. We publish in English at this time. Please keep in touch with us as we are seeking translators .
We offer a publication contract to accepted authors.

We pay authors of accepted submissions $.07/word for the first right of publication. We send North America-based writers two print copies of the final work.

All submissions must be original work that has not been previously published elsewhere, either in print or online such as on a blog, forum, or personal website.
We accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
We do not accept any work generated by Artificial Intelligence.
We welcome submissions in the following categories:
Fiction: Short stories up to a maximum of 7,000 words (approximately 25 pages) in the following genres: historical fiction, magical realism, fantasy, science fiction, horror, adventure, mystery.
Poetry: Up to 5 poems per submission
Cover Letter
Contact information (name, email, phone number)
Short bio in third-person (up to 500 words)
Title and genre of your submission
Relevant publication credits (optional, these are not used as part of evaluation)

Please do not submit:
Work containing excessive violence or graphic content without literary merit

Plagiarized material
Work that has already been published (a blog, Substack, e-mail newsletter, social media, or your own website is considered published)
Work that is incomplete
Work that requires very strong editing. We will retain the services of an editor but may defer publication of your accepted piece if you wish for your submission to undergo additional developmental editing.

DILIM Press asks for first North American publication rights and non-exclusive online rights on our website.
Copyright is retained by the author. Authors are free to resell or reprint the work, although we do ask for a 90-day exclusive from our first publication of the work.
We ask that whenever an author reprints a piece that first appeared in our volume, DILIM Press is acknowledged as the work’s original publisher.
We pay for accepted work (see agreement) at 7 cents per word Contributor Agreement, DILIM
